speedy's place

This was a very special project for me. My good old buddy, Jeff Evans, asked me to still be a part of this year's Town and Gown Theater Awards Banquet. He and I used to write comedy or participate in someway whenever we could when asked to help with each year's banquet. I am often homesick....but because Jeff included me this year, I was able to do something creative for my friends and theater back home. That helped more than any medicine I could take for said sickness! This year's theme was James Bond 007 because of the year 2007. Jeff told me to be a James Bond character that gets killed in the end....I took it from there. The biggest satisfaction of all was to hear that this simple video made folks back home laugh. That was all I needed to hear....You may not get all of the inside jokes, but I hope you enjoy this short film. We had to shoot it and edit it in 48 hours to get it to Jeff in time for the show. Like he and I have always said, "We'd be dangerous if we had time or money"....And we never seem to have much of either! Hope you enjoy this clip that we put together despite many challenges.
